Three Insights on Mindfulness
I recently attended a leadership workshop at work that focused on combining a growth mindset with mindfulness in action. (Source: Conscious Leadership Group)
Growth Mindset learning:
Be self-aware
Be willing to experiment
Focus on progress over time
Learn from others
Choose the right action
Mindful responding:
Be self-aware; balance your attention
Pause, breathe
Inquire about the meaning you made; challenge your assumptions
Plan how to neutralize defensiveness
Mindfully take action and pay attention to the impact
Breathe to become grounded and centered. A calming GIF - here is a one-minute breathing exercise you can do just before a meeting or transitioning between work and home.
Eight criteria for discerning major decisions in life:
Collect information.
List the pros and cons for each decision point.
Seek counsel from a trusted advisor.
Be mindful of how you are making the decision.
Imagine making the decision one way – try it on mentally – how does it feel?
Repeat this mental decision-making and pay attention to the feelings.
Set a timeline for the decision.
Decide from a place of self-trust.

One Fervorino on Love
(Fervorino means "little sermon." These are short video reflections of inspiration and encouragement to ponder during the week, based on the Sunday Gospel readings from the Roman Catholic Lectionary).
Note: this is my final video Fervorino for now. I will leverage this work for future publications at a later time. Thank you for your feedback on this endeavor over the past three years.
Peace be with you all.
Live beyond the boundaries and locked doors of fear.
Have the courage to witness a love that is beyond all measure.
I appreciate you all being part of the journey, and I hope you have a great week.
