Hi y’all,

During the early years of learning to be a nun, I had time to slow down and be present.

In that slowing down, I learned that it is easy to miss the incredible wonders of ordinary life: the beauty of flowers in your yard, the taste of a good cup of tea, savoring meals and conversations with sisters from around the world, and the mundane task of laundry that draws you into a contemplative practice of intention.

I know that even today, our days contain subtle wonders we’re probably overlooking.

These "quiet miracles," as poet John O’Donohue calls them, rarely grab your attention, yet noticing them can profoundly shift your perspective. By slowing down just enough to witness these small moments, you begin to transform ordinary routines into opportunities for profound gratitude and awareness.
