If you want to start a journal, here are 3 easy steps to help you begin.

1 - Consider how you do your best thinking.

  • Is it through writing, speaking, photographing, drawing, sketching, or a combination?  Do you write best in a notebook (analog) or on a digital device?

  • Choose a tool that aligns with your thoughts - a notebook, a journal app, a camera, an audio recorder for speaking, a sketchbook, etc.

2 - Start in small increments.

  • One way is to set a timer for 1, 3, 5, or 10 minutes, then start writing until the time is up.  Let you…
